Adding a Server 2012 Cluster into SCVMM 2012 SP1 - Error 13805

I have recently built a 6 node Failover Cluster in Server 2012 and am now trying to add it to SCVMM 2012 SP1.  When I go into SCVMM and try to add the new cluster, it sees all 6 nodes and the cluster name object.  The cluster name object is the only item I can check to add.  Then when I try to add it, it fails with the error 13805:

Unable to contact cluster service on <clusterobjectname>.<domain>.corp.

Ensure that the provided name is a cluster name or the computer name of a node in the cluster, and that the cluster is listed in Active Directory Domain Services.  For a newly created cluster, you might need to wait for the cluster name to be added to the Active Directory Domain Services.

I can see the cluster object name in active directory and it does have an A record in DNS.  The service account in SCVMM also has full control over it.  The thing that is puzzling me is that it is trying to contact the cluster service on the cluster name object?  The cluster name object is not a real computer, it's just a placeholder.  Why would it be trying to contact a service on a computer that doesn't exist?

We do have an old  cluster that someone else set up that this new cluster is replacing that was set up on a Server 2008 R2 environment.  Looking at the cluster name object on that Failover Cluster, it shows it being set up as DHCP.  I cannot set the cluster name object on the Server 2012 to DHCP.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Jeremy
