I have configured a 2012 R2 Hyper-V cluster that is hosting a number of VMs.
in order to utilise ODX I have configured a file server on the same cluster so that it is connected to the SAN and I do not need any additional hardware.
I configured the clustered file server to be a vmm library and it all worked fine and I was able to upload physical resources and templates.
I have come back the next day and I am getting the following error in VMM if I try to look at the properties of the library server or do a refresh on it:
"Error (13804) Access to the cluster xxxxx was denied.
Recommended action
ensure the specified credentials have access to query cluster resources and then try the operation again."
The account I am using in VMM is a domain admin and I have configured the library to use the vmmadmin account, this is a local admin on all the cluster nodes and I have checked the permission of the cluster and it lists this account as an admin.
I am at a loss. this is actually the second time this has happened to me and last time I ended up rebuilding VMM.
